What to do in Suva : Tips, places, hotels and restaurants
City of just over 70 000 inhabitants, however Suva is part of a conurbation which account for just under 300,000, bringing together third of the population of Fiji. It is located on the island of Viti Levu and has an international airport. The two main resources of the city are fishing and tourism, and there are so many hotels and various hostels. Consisting of a blend of modernity and tradition, Suva offers the traveler shopping centers and craft shops, friendly cafes and upscale restaurants, and a bustling waterfront. To move around, taxis are plentiful, and you can also rent a car. Some sites to see in the city: the residence of the President of Fiji, the Sacred Heart Church, the Fiji Museum which traces the history of Fiji, Botanical Garden Thurston Garden, Albert Park, Suva daily market held each morning and is very typical.
