What to do in Sharm El Sheikh : Tips, places, hotels and restaurants
Situated in Egypt south of the Sinai desert, this town has become since the 80s an important tourist destination. With less than 40,000 inhabitants, it is highly valued for its diving spots, between the Red Sea and Gulf of Aqaba. Its dry climate makes get very hot summers and mild winters, with mild temperatures between seasons, which are the best times to travel to Sharm el-Sheikh. It can be accessed through its international airport, but also by bus from different cities of Egypt, and by boat from Hurghada and Aqaba. Its main interest is that of a seaside resort, also very popular with Europeans, and there are a multitude of hotels to meet that steady demand. It is also possible to practice windsurfing and kite surfing, but beware of strong winds if you are beginner.
