Located in Brittany, the town of Saint-Brieuc has 46,000 inhabitants and was founded in the 5th century by Bishop Brieuc who gave it its name, between two valleys at the bottom of a bay. You will discover in the city an old center, dominated by the cathedral of Saint-Etienne, of Romanesque and Gothic style, in the Place du Martray; The market halls of the 19th century where the market is held on Wednesdays and Saturdays; The Place du Lin and the surrounding streets where there are remains of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, such as the house of the Barriere or the Hotel of the Dukes of Brittany; The tower of Cesson, erected in 1395, of which only ruins remain; The Museum of Art and History.
