Located in the southeast of the Aegean Sea, Rhodes is a Greek island which has about 100,000 inhabitants and is also the name of the capital of the island. Known worldwide for its Colossus, a huge statue that is part of the 7 wonders of the world, now disappeared after an earthquake in 227 BC.
