Canada's capital, Ottawa has about 900,000 inhabitants. Built at the meeting of the Ottawa River and the Gatineau River, it has a continental climate, with rainfall fairly evenly distributed over the year. The city is served by an international airport, and has numerous attractions from a touristic point of view; several museums in particular are worth visiting, including the Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of Science and Technology and the Canadian Museum of Nature.
