What to do in Nimes : Tips, places, hotels and restaurants
Ville du Gard in the south-east of France, Nimes is located between the Mediterranean and the Cevennes and has about 150 000 inhabitants. It welcomes many tourists during the summer, attracted by its privileged environment and its ancient past including numerous sites testify. One reaches Nîmes by the A9 from Spain or Lyon, or the A54 from Marseille, and a train connects the city to Paris, while an airport located 10 km from the center allows flights to London and Brussels.
