Town on the Greek island of the same name, part of the Cyclades, Mykonos, also called Chora, is known for its festive nightlife, fueled by the many bars and clubs found there. But it is also a beautiful place to discover, featuring sights that are worth visiting, like the charming harbor, the windmills, but also Parapotiani church (which is actually made up of five different churches) with walls immaculate white which stand out against the deep blue sky, the five museums, the main square, Laka, planted with eucalyptus and palm trees, the castle, the statue of Manto Mavrogenous (independence hero). Our advice: make your visit in the morning to the light and quiet, while night owls recover. If you like partying, there's every night in Chora, in bars and even on beaches. Food lovers will not be disappointed, however, because there are many restaurants of all kinds: try specialties such as Louza Loukaniko or mezze. And finally, take a coffee in the neighborhood of Little Venice while watching the sun set over the sea.
