A French city situated at the confluence of the Rhône and the Saône, Lyon has about 500,000 inhabitants. With a rich history, the city has existed since antiquity. It remains today at the crossroads of many French and European routes. In the city, metro, tram, trolleybus and bus assist in getting people around easily.
