What to do in Harare : Tips, places, hotels and restaurants
The capital of Zimbabwe in Southern Africa, Harare has a population of just under 2 million. You can visit the city centre fairly easily on foot and discover the colonial architecture, the Anglican Cathedral, the Italian Renaissance style Hotel, the Botanical Gardens, the National Gallery, the Parliament buildings and the Market Hall. Climb the Kopje for a panoramic view over the city. Not far away there are a few site and places well worth a visit; the Shona village of Chapungu Kraal, the balancing rocks at Epworth and the nature reserve of Mukuvisi Woodlands.
