French town in northern France, located in the Pas-de-Calais, Arras has 41 000 inhabitants, a third of which is under 25 years. Some monuments and sites are particularly remarkable in Arras: two beautiful baroque squares (the Grand Place and the Heroes Square), its citadel, its belfry listed as UNESCO heritage, but there are a total of 255 buildings registered for historical monuments in the city, making it the densest city in France to this view.
