Entry to the territory: Allowed
Nepal is open to both vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers.

Fully vaccinated travelers do not need COVID-19 testing, if not fully vaccinated, you must obtain a negative PCR test not more than 72 hours before your flight of first departure to enter Nepal and should then be able to obtain a visa on arrival.

Quarantine is no longer required for travelers regardless of their vaccine status. However, travelers are subject to COVID-19 testing and who test positive for COVID-19 on arrival may not be permitted entry into Nepal, per the latest travel advisory.

Lockdown: Partial
Public spaces and services are now currently operating a restricted service in the Kathmandu valley to control outbreaks of COVID-19, and other districts may operate more restrictive models. Shops and services when open will only serve customers wearing some form of face mask. Shop openings may vary by location, as local administrations in other districts are free to adapt a different model

People are required to maintain social distancing and wear masks in public. Up to 100 people may now attend gatherings, if vaccinated

There are current limitations on the opening of entertainment centres such as cinema halls and dance bars, health clubs and swimming clubs, salons, beauty parlours, spas, libraries, zoos, and museums. When open, you will need to wear masks, and adults will need to show proof of vaccination status.
