What to do in Lilongwe : Tips, places, hotels and restaurants
Lilongwe is the capital of Malawi, and is located in a very fertile region, south-west of the country, at an altitude of 1200 meters. It has just under 800 000 inhabitants, and is served by an international airport. The city seems to split in two, with an old town where the main market and shops are located, always restless and noisy party, and a newer area that includes government ministries, hotels, embassies, more quiet and residential.
