Capital of the British archipelago of Bermuda, Hamilton lies on the north side of the Main Island and has just over 1,000 inhabitants. It attracts many tourists with its houses in pastel colors, pink sand of its turquoise water fringed beaches. It is in 1790 that the British government settles, then it becomes an important military base in the 20th century until 1995.
